Tradition and quality have always been synonymous with the products of Scotland, and these attributes distinguish one of our most popular "exports", the music of Neil Barron and his band. Since its formation in 1983, as well as playing throughout the UK, the band has been the regular guest of the St. Andrew's Societies of Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur! The tradition of the music is upheld by Neil's arrangements and compositions, and its quality is accented by the superb musicianship of the band, whose skills are gratefully acknowledged by Neil.

The ceilidh experience was originally formed in 2002 when established musicians Norman Mackay and Carrie Thomas started gigging as an accordion/fiddle duo. They were joined the following year by Edinburgh based funk/rock drummer Billy Oke. They now perform regularly at ceilidhs all over the country. The four piece usually includes young traditional musician of the year finalist 2005 fiddler Mike Vass or Skye piano box wizard Archie Macfarlane from the renowned Archie and farquhar duo.

Quotes:

"Mackay is one of Scotlands best accordionists!" (The List) "This ceilidh crew will blow your socks off!" (Loudon Temple)
